Last night I worked my arms from every angle.  They are a little sore and a little weak today.  But my butt is really sore from my workout the night before last!  It gradually got sorer and stiffer as the day went on yesterday and today it’s still feeling pretty darn sore.  Also, my hamstrings are so tight that I can barely touch my toes.  That’s pretty bad for me because I fancy myself a yogini and practice yoga daily. What I’m sayin’ is I’m usually pretty limber—but not today!  What happened is, I was at the gym, doing my glute work out, when in walks a famous fitness model—no, not just A fitness model—THE fitness model that I have on my vision board at home for having the best butt in the world!!!  Her name is Alicia Marie.  And what’s even better is that I introduced myself and told her what an inspiration she is to me and she was SO nice!  We talked for about 30 minutes!  Needless to say, after that I worked the hell out of my butt just thinking about her glutes that I just saw in person—they are insane!  I just kept looking across the gym at her and then jumping back on my machine and raising the weight.  It was crazy.  Oh well… so,  I plan on doing some walking on my treadmill to warm up and then doing into some gentle stretching.  I also may go to the day spa and get a massage and sit in the whirlpool.  I sat in the whirlpool at the gym last night before doing my arm work out and then I did some stretching and it helped a lot.

So today is going to be a day off from the gym for my stiff and sore body.  (Ironic that I’m doing all this to make my body look like a young gymnasts’ and today I’m walking like Fred Sanford).  This is the way I do days off—I work it like an Egyptian protesting in the street until my dictatorial regime is finally overthrown and I am forced to take a day off (you can tell what’s been on the TV at the gym).  Sometimes it happens when I least expect it, and other times I work out really hard and I don’t get sore, so I keep on going.  Anyway, here’s my arm workout from last night for anyone interested in following my lead and really giving themself some pain too : )
